Jérôme Pinti
I am a marine ecologist. I am a Senior Scientist, leading the Biological Oceanography lab at the Gulf of Maine Research Institute (Portland, Maine).
My main research interests are pelagic ecology, movement & behavioral ecology, and predator-prey interactions. I relate oceanographic variables (the environment) to movements and behaviors of animals, from zooplankton to sharks, all in order to better understand the marine ecosystem, its functions, and its services.
